NEWEST RELEASES

Now in our 5th year of original music production and promotion, o.i.e. has signed with ReapAndSow,Inc. for online distribution. RAS, from SF, CA, is a small distributor that works hard to push our catalog for television and film licensing.

We're very proud to have released Sal Valentino's Dreamin' Man album on 03/15/08. Produced by John Blakeley at his own Duncan St. Studio in SF,CA, John also played guitar on the album, it's a brilliant display of production and musicianship!

We also released the much-anticipated LIVE vonFrickle album; "The Forty Fingers of Doctor V" on 03/15/08, which we recorded on o.i.e.'s own mobile recording rig at the beautiful Castle Theater in Bloomington, Il., before it's sale and closure. Mixed by vonFrickle at their own F.E.A.R. Studio, it's a surreal journey through a live show that must be heard to be believed!

Sons of Science' long awaited debut LP is under production at Oxide Lounge Studios, set for Oct. Release. SoS have recently added drummer Sydney Green, who brings his great technical chops and dedication to the project.

The Pride And Joy of Illinois, Backyard Tire Fire, have fulfilled their contract with o.i.e., and have recently signed with Hyena Records, a great label, and they're new album, "The Places We Lived" is set for release this August, with a nat'l headlining tour to follow. BTF is a success story we're all very proud of, and we'll continue to work hard for them.

We're looking at several artists to sign this year. We're especially looking for progressive rock bands that display originality, musicianship, and composition in their work. Please contact us for submission info.

Speaking of new artists, we're very excited about the addition Love & Murder to the o.i.e. roster. Love & Murder is a San Francisco based band comprised of veteran vocalist Linda Imperial (yes, the same Linda Imperial who tours with Jefferson Starship and Quicksilver Messenger Service, among others) and producer/writer/artist Ray Staar. Think of them as a kind of Roots/Americana Eurythmics and you'll have the basic idea...and no, the comparison is NOT a stretch. Check back soon for a free download of their first single.
